An outdoor adventure for all adrenaline junkies out there, Acrobranch is easily accessible and allows cityslickers the opportunity to experience the wild side of life with a swing through the trees on a thrilling tree-top adventure.
Acrobranch Adventure Courses at The Big Red Barn
With four exhilarating tree-top Adventure courses and a range of difficulty levels, Acrobranch Centurion caters for both the young, old and the experienced, from individuals to groups. It’s a great activity for team buildings, birthdays, bachelor/ette parties and school outings. Not only is it all round fun, but it is a great activity to build confidence and coordination. Slide, balance, jump, crawl, dash, swing or stroll – our courses will test your physical ability, brainpower and balancing skills. All-in-all, it is a wonderful way to get those muscles and minds working in a beautiful and peaceful outdoor setting. Our experienced guides keep a watch over things, ready to jump in if a helping hand is needed.

For our younger adrenaline enthusiasts, Acrobranch at The Big Red Barn features the Acrotwigs-bungy. An activity that will have little ones safely soaring 10 meters high facilitated by both a harness as well as trampoline.

Acrobranch Centurion
Directions from Pretoria
- Take the Nellmapius offramp from the R21.
- Pass the Irene Mall on you right and carry on down until the Irene Village Market.
- Turn left into Glen Road (between BP garage and Irene Golf Course).
- Head on straight towards Olifantsfontein with the railway on you left.
- Keep your eyes on the right as soon as you pass Pinedene Train Station and look for a big, curved, red roof as well as banners, then turn into Nelson Road (Sunlawns) on your right.
Directions from Midranc
- Take the Olifantsfontein Road (R562) and head straight towards the R21.
- As soon as you pass the industrial area turn left into the M18, known as either Glen Road/Main Road/Hoof Road.
- Drive straight towards Irene and turn into Nelson Road (Sunlawns) just after the corobrick crossing.
Directions from Kempton Park
- Take the Olifantsfontein Road and turn right into the M18, known as either Glen Road/Main Road/Hoof Road.

Next to the Acrobranch park, the Big Red Barn is an antique hay barn which has been salvaged and rebuilt. The Barn is located in a 20-acre Eucalyptus forest and looks out over an expansive vista of fields, grasslands and the Kaal River. This multi-faceted family venue also offers mountain bike tracks, trail running and lots of open space.

Red Barn Café is a full service restaurant on-site. Pop into the Red Barn Café for a bite to eat or a refreshing drink as you reflect on the day’s excitement. The Red Barn Cafe is open Tuesday through to Sunday & Public & School holidays. No self-catering is allowed.
