Kid’s Course: Acro-Twigs
Perfect for our youngest explorers, the Acro-twigs course is designed for children aged 3 to 6 years. Featuring 17 fun and safe obstacles, this course introduces little adventurers to the joys of tree-top adventures – while focusing on balance, coordination, and confidence. Under the watchful guidance of our trained safety instructors, kids will enjoy a safe and unforgettable Acrobranch experience as they conquer each challenge.
Beginner’s Course: Monkey Moves
The Monkey Moves course is perfect for beginners, including kids from 7 years old to adults (minimum height 1.2 m). With 19 action-packed obstacles, this course provides a gentle introduction to ziplining and rope course adventures, allowing adventurers to build confidence while enjoying a thrilling outdoor experience. Ideal for 1st-time climbers looking for fun outdoor activities in Johannesburg South.
Intermediate Course: Swinging Tarzan
For those seeking more excitement, the Swinging Tarzan course offers 19 dynamic obstacles that challenge agility, strength, and nerve. Participants will swing, climb, and crawl through progressively challenging obstacles for an adrenaline-filled adventure. Suitable for kids from 7 years to adults (minimum height 1.3 m), this course is a highlight for anyone looking to level up their treetop adventure experience.
Advanced Course: High Flying
The High Flying course is the ultimate challenge and the highest obstacle course at Acrobranch Thaba. Featuring 22 obstacles, including 1 ride on the Big Zip, it tests agility, balance, and courage at every step. Designed for participants from 9 years old and adults (1.3 m+), this course is perfect for thrill-seekers who want to experience the best zipline and aerial adventure.
The Big Zip Experience – 3 Rides Per Person
Included in the High Flying course and available separately for adventurers seeking maximum thrills, The Big Zip experience lets you soar across a 120-meter zipline, 3 x times per person. Feel the rush, enjoy panoramic views of Thaba-Eco Village, and capture memories – It is an unforgettable zipline adventure in Mulbarton. Participants need to be 7 years+ (minimum height 1.2 m)

- Get onto the N1 South toward Johannesburg.
- Continue on the N1 South and follow signs for Johannesburg / Bloemfontein.
- Take the R554 / Kliprivier Drive exit.
- At the off-ramp, turn left onto Kliprivier Drive (R554).
- Continue straight on Kliprivier Drive for several kilometres.
- Turn into Thaba Eco Village / Acrobranch Thaba entrance.
- Follow the internal signs to Acrobranch Thaba parking / reception.
