Recently, Liza-Marie Weppenaar and her colleagues from Prestige Academy chose Acrobranch Cape Town for their team building experience. We chatted to Liza about her day at the beautiful park.
How did you find the Acrobranch experience?
The Acrobranch experience was fun! The instructors were knowledgeable and gave us a demonstration on the equipment, as well as the do’s and don’ts before we went on the course. We each got an opportunity to test the first course, before we were allowed to tackle the rest of the courses. The instructors were always around, answering any questions we might have, and ensured that safety standards were met at all times.
Which course did you go on and what was the highlight of that course?
Initially, we tried the yellow and green courses. This proved too easy for some of us more adventurous types, and we were soon allowed to try out the blue course. The blue course was probably the most exciting (not all in the group agreed, as the green was quite daring already for some of the group who had issues with height), as it also had the highest obstacles of all. The blue course also had the longest zipline, which was exhilarating, especially at such a height and speed. The other obstacles was also fun to manoeuvre through, and a little bit of competition started emerging between members of the group, as we tried to overtake each other and see who could complete the course the fastest.
Would you recommend Acrobranch to your friends?
Oh, definitely! It was an unforgettable experience, and we’re hoping that they will add even more new features and obstacles soon to create more variety.

Our Monkey Moves course is set for beginners. Starting at a mere 1.3m, the course rises through the trees taking you through various obstacles including barrels, cargo nets and balance beams. Though this course may appear simple, this is the perfect opportunity for work colleagues to rally together and support one another through the obstacles.
If you are looking for something that provides a bigger challenge, we suggest the Swinging Tarzan course. While this course may seem like a walk in a park, there is much more to it than meets the eye. Get that adrenaline pumping by taking on the course with your team mates or you can even challenge on another to a race through the obstacles!
Those who are a little braver than most, will enjoy the High Flying Course. With ziplines, cargo nets, barrels and balancing beams, this is a challenge that will call all members to help one another through the tough course.
